Project Sponsorships
Director Venunye Djentuh has a strong vision for the future of Ryvanz-Mia Orphange. Donors looking to have a larger impact can choose to sponsor a phase of a new project or the entire project from start to finish.
Dining Hall
The construction of a dining hall and accompanying kitchen for the children is currently a work in progress; however there is still a need for flooring, ceiling, windows, doors, electric, plumbing, and painting. Any donation of 500 USD or more will help with continued construction.
Library and Computer Lab
This project would provide a quiet place for the children to study as well as resources to help them further their learning. The total project estimate is approximately 10,000 USD.
Phase 1
- Construct combined library and computer room
- Purchase tables, chairs, and/or desks
- Purchase 1 – 3 computers
- Utilize current books
Phase 2
- Additional purchase of 20 – 50 books
- Additional purchase of computers to total 20
- Funds for continued computer maintenance
Phase 3
- Installation of internet for the computer lab
- Additional funds for continued computer upkeep and maintenance
Community Programs
This project is focused on hiring additional staff and developing programs, such as computer education, to further the learning of the children at Ryvanz-Mia Orphanage as well as the broader Kpando community.
Other New Projects: New needs continue to arise every day. Investing in additional resources, such as a mini-bus for transporting the children, is an example of one consideration for the future. Additional project ideas are welcome and should be discussed with Director Venunye Djentuh.
