Mawuli, where to begin? Although Mawuli can feel left out quite often and get frustrated, deep down he is incredibly caring and loving. He has a huge appetite and will eat anything and everything. He is always ready to help and always looks out for the children that are younger than him. He was the first child to come to Ryvanz-Mia and perhaps because of this he is very good at looking out and making sure that new children at the orphanage are taken care of and feel like part of the family.

His mother was diagnosed mentally disabled and his father was never known. His frustration and difficulty fitting in seems to stem from the difficult childhood that he has overcome. He has made incredible progress and although he gets in trouble quite often, he does try really hard to be good and to be helpful.

Mawuli was unable to attend school until he was accepted into the orphanage due to poverty. He began attending Delta Preparatory School, kindergarten level, in the late September 2007 and now attends the Miracle Preparatory School.
